The color palette of these high-cut sneakers immediately evokes memories of one of the Jumpman’s most popular footwear collections — the “Shattered Backboard” series. Its titular hue is what does most of the heavy lifting here as it drops off on the premium tumbled leather overlays, Swooshes, laces, ankle flaps and tongue branding. Nylon-infused tongues as well as the leather quarter panels and perforated toe boxes usher in brighter contrast with their angelic finishes while the collars deviate with “Cacao” skins. To finish things off, the Jordan design team supplies vintage flair through the midsoles as they are treated with an off-white exterior and the bottoms are fully covered in more “Starfish” paint.
