This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 get the sporting makeover, having already come out in the “Shadow” and “Royal Blue” colourway in the summer of ’22. Although now the smooth leather upper has been swapped out for mock-crocodile leather, bringing a different level of class to your outfit. A foam tongue and standard black laces can be found here as it is on the majority of Air Jordan 1 Low releases, but that’s it in terms of the shoe’s standard features. The white midsole has been thickened to increase cushioning and underfoot the tread has been altered to improve its ability on the Golf course. The forefoot pivot circle has a more aggressive lug depth that extends to the backfoot and even the star count on the toe has been beefed-up. Just in case these tweaks went unnoticed, the tongue label and insole branding both include a capitalised “GOLF” under the iconic Jumpman, making the update even more apparent.
