The KAWS collab is completely covered in a premium grey suede across the upper as well as a portion of the midsole. The detailed stitching on the upper is of the famous artwork ‘Companion’ and shows the level of detailing that goes across the whole shoe.
This is coupled with street artists signature XX logo on the heel counter, that is once again paying homage to his companion work. This also reappears on the hang tag of the shoe. All of this sits on top of a icy sole that glows in the dark when the lights are turned off.
The sole once again has illustrations of Brian Donnelly’s work as well as having his signature on the inside of the tongue along with the customary Jumpman logo. He really has put his own stamp on a very iconic shoe for Nike.
