With a shape similar to the 14/15, the pair presents with semi-segmented Zoom Air supports underfoot akin to the 16, while added plastic heel pieces are reminiscent in shape and finish to those seen on the 13. New to the line is the included midfoot caging, which is seen here on both the lateral and medial sides for extra support. It’s likely there due to the seemingly lightweight ripstop upper and neoprene tongue which are both notoriously bad for support — though the former does appear to be reinforced.
