The shoes were given that nickname for its resemblance to the Air Jordan 1 “Royal”, and since then the burgeoning skate division has made some attempts to revive the quirky nickname, but none have quite held up in esteem like the original. In 2020, it appears that the attractive mix will return, this time a nod to the OG “Shadow” colorway; with a full black suede base, Nike SB adds the signature hue of grey on the toe-box, Swoosh, outsole, lining, and laces for a striking release – J-Pack affiliation or not. The new purple shoebox appears to be the housing selection, so fortunately these won’t be an Orange Label skateshop exclusive either

"4.5/5 stars ??. Just copped the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro "Shadow" and I'm loving the bold black and grey design ?. The tumbled leather and suede combo is sick and the laces are ridiculously sturdy ?. Only minor gripe is the price, but overall a fire sneaker ? that's a must-have for any sneakerhead ?️."

"Scored the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Black Grey? & I'm stoked. The quality's on point, but I'm not feeling the price (£329) TBH. Shipping was decent, arrived 7 days after ordering. Overall, I'd gave 3.5/5 ⭐️. The Dunk's still the OG, don't think the SB adds much."
